The following is from Alice (Cub Scout), needless to say we are very proud of the action she and Ted have taken!
"On Tuesday 2nd May our Cub Pack went to visit the Godmanchester Food Bank. A Food Bank is a place where people who are struggling and who do not have enough money to feed their family and can go to get packages that contain enough food for a week.
Ted and I thought it would help if the residents of our road could donate some food. So we arranged a collection of food on our road on Saturday 13th May. We collected 5 shopping bags of food that will be donated to the Godmanchester Food Bank.
If anyone else would like to help they can only take dried or tinned food. At the moment they are low on pasta, pasta suace, tinned custard or rice pudding, tinned vegetables (peas, sweetcorn, carrots) and small jars of coffee."
