Tuesday 1st August
Our Tuesday morning started off at 5.30am, we had to wake up this early to finish getting ready for our day trip as well as getting prepared for our sunrise ceremony. After all moaning about how early it was, we finally set off to go on to the main stage. The sunrise ceremony was to celebrate 110 years of scouting and to think about making new friends from different countries. Since we woke up so early, we had to have a packed breakfast which was a sausage sandwich and ketchup (optional). After waiting for what seemed like an hour, we finally got to board our coach. Luckily the drive seemed quite short and before we knew it we had arrived at Dover Castle. Everyone was split up into three groups and we had a leader with us. Our group went to the top of the castle, on the way we saw lots of different things, and rachel and Alana found their new rooms! While we were on the roof it was fascinating to look out on the port of Dover. After that, we went to have lunch that we made the previous day, and some people had coke and chocolate. After a packed day of fun we went back to camp to relax after our early start. For the rest of the day we all played cards and other games. Then everyone went to bed after the amazing trip.
