This page is a list of places worth a visit - some in a local evening and some for planning a Nights Away event around further afield. Below are ones we have been informed of (and in many cases used) already.
If you have anything to add, or find a problem / updated information for any of these just let Louise, Jamie or Connel know and we can amend accordingly.
Don't forget to mention it's for scouting use, that often brings a discount / free stuff!

Drumming School | The tour will be taking place between May and September 2018 and will give all participants the chance to learn a song on the Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drum Kit. They will then get the opportunity to get into groups of 3 and actually play the song collectively as a 3-piece rock band. We completely understand that group funds are relied on for a number of activities and funds need to go as far as possible so we ask instead that parents make a one-off payment of £10 for their child on the evening as we are required to hire a van for our tours, cover fuel and sometimes even sleep on the journey for our long-distance trips. If you'd like we can do camp visits for our longer distance visits as this takes all the pressure off for travelling both ways, setting up and taking down gear etc. There is no limit on the number of participants but, again, I'd recommend a camp visit if you have a large number in order to get the most out of it!! Also, if you'd like to see photos, videos and reviews from my past tour dates (Drumming only) feel free to take a look at and join my drumming school's Facebook Page!! https://www.facebook.com/drummingscooldrummingschool/ Max Anderson - Hopkins, Music Tutor - Drumming's Cool Drumming School. |
