Scouts is for adults too. We rely on an extensive team of adult volunteers to make the adventure happen in almost any role you could imagine. Our volunteers empower young people to learn new skills, make new friends and feel good about themselves. And what's more, it's #GoodForYou.
We are always looking for new volunteers to ensure we can continue to provide life-changing experiences for young people in Fenstanton and Hilton. Whatever your background or the time you can spare, we have a role for you.
You don't need to be Bear Grylls to join us. With full support and training, you don't need to have been a Scout before, and you can volunteer on a flexible basis. Not only is it incredibly rewarding and great fun, you'll learn some brilliant skills transferable to the workplace and further education.
We appreciate that some adults will be able to offer only a few hours once a year whilst other may feel able to help for several hours each week. Equally some adults prefer to work directly with the young people whilst others may prefer more of a background role. You can volunteer in any way which works for you.
